Old Maid

Deck: 49-card Animal Packs deck (remove one Honey Bee, one Tree Frog, and one Chipmunk before play). Players: 2–6 players

Objective

Avoid being the last player holding the Raccoon card.

Setup

Shuffle the 49-card deck and deal the cards evenly to all players. Some players may have one extra card. Each player looks at their hand and removes any animal pairs, placing those pairs face up in a shared discard pile.

Gameplay

On your turn, draw one card from the player to your left without looking.If the drawn card creates a pair, place both cards in the discard pile. If not, keep the card in your hand.Play continues clockwise as players keep drawing, pairing, and discarding.

Winning the Game

The game ends when all pairs have been made and only the Raccoon remains. The player left holding the Raccoon loses; all other players win.

Tips & Variations

The Raccoon acts as the Old Maid.
