The Field

Shuffle the deck and deal three cards to each player.Place three cards from the deck face down in the center to form the Field.

Each player secretly chooses one card from their hand to play face down. If you have two or three of the same animal, you may play those cards together as a set. When all players are ready, reveal the Field cards. Then everyone flips their chosen cards at the same time.

Your total equals the Pack Rank value of your played card(s) plus any Field cards of the same Pack Rank. The highest total wins the round. If two or more players tie, the player who used fewer cards wins. If still tied, or if no one beats the Field's total, the Field wins the round. For the next round, each player draws back up to three cards, resets the Field with three new face-down cards, and play continues.

Use Pack Rank values (1–5) as card numbers.
